JOB INTERVIEW 

WHAT IS JOB INTERVIEW ?

A job interview is a meeting organised by a recruiter used to evaluate a potential employee for prospective employment at a company. interviews are one of the most popularly used devices for employee selection.Interviews vary in the extent to which the questions are structured, from totally unstructured and free-wheeling conversation, to a set list of questions each applicant is asked. Research has shown that structured interviews are more valid than unstructured, that is, they are more accurate in predicting which applicants will make good employees.

DIALOG IN JOB INTERVIEW

 

Interviewee      : Thank you sir 

Interviewer      :  How are you today  ?

Interviewee      : I’m perfectly fine, Sir. and how about you?

Interviwer       : I’m fine too . So, Are you ready for this  job interview ?

Interviwee        : Yes, I am ready

Interviewer      : Ok,  Please tell me about your self ?

Interviewee      : I’m  Karnia oktaviani just call me nia , I  graduated from university of jakarta. Majoring in accounting.  I have work experience in danamon bank as a teller.  I like singing and traveling. In my family i dont have sister and brother, so i’m single.

Interviewer      : What is your motivation applying here?

Interviewee   : Working in the bank especially BCA  is my passion since i graduated from university. BCA is the most bigger bank  in indonesia. Many people want to work in bca including me.  

Interviewer      : Ok, Please tell me your strength and your weakness?

Interviewee     : I can communicate well, eazy to adapt with another people , always learn new things to  increase my knowledge , i can work not only as individual but also as team, and beside that i can calculate money quickly

 Interviewer     : Is that so? Do you have computer skills? Do you speak any other languages?

Interviewee      : Yes, I do have computer skills. I can operate MS Office, excel, Adobe Photoshop, and the internet. And I can speak english and japan

Interviewer      : What are your weaknesses and how will you improve all of those?

Interviewee     : Sometimes i need more time to finishing my job but it is good to be excelent job

Interviewer      : What are you salary expectation ?
 

Interviewee     : I’m sure that BCA  offers a fair, competitive salary for someone with my education / training, skills and experience. I am also willing to negotiate for the right position.

Interviewer      : Have you ever had a conflict with a superior or colleague? How did you handle it?
 

Interviewee     : I think that everyone at some point has had a conflict at work whether it’s with a supervisor or co-worker. I’ve found that when I’m in a difficult situation, it helps to communicate with the other person, understand their perspective and try to work out a collaborative solution whenever possible.”

Interviewer      : Well, thank you for your time. We'll be making a selection in a couple of days and will call you

Interviewee     : Thank you sir.
